Journal Entry #1: 1/1/2010

I guess I'm a little late, but I'm thinking of doing a blog/journal entry for every day of this year. I wasn't sure which to choose, but I don't have a spare journal sitting around...so I guess for now I'll just blog about this stuff. Sorry if it's boring, I'll transfer it over to paper if/when I do get a new journal to write in. Anyway...

So today was the first day of the new year. I find it kinda funny how people think that just because a new year's started, it gives them a fresh start. I mean really, it could be just another day. It's not like you're changing jobs, cities, or entering a new phase of your life. In the end, it's kinda just another day that gives people a reason to get drunk and, in some cases, think about making changes in their lives. I guess I'm one to talk, wanting to document every day of this new year, wanting to make some changes in my life for the better, wanting to have set goals to inevitably achieve.

Today was a really long day. I didn't really sleep much after getting to bed at 4 AM and going in to work from 4 PM-9 PM (boy was it a mess). Afterwards I played some PWI (Perfect World International) with Kevin at my house. I thought about writing this all day, and possibly doing videos on Fridays, but with Friday gone, I suppose I'm too late. Maybe I'll do a video entry on Saturdays. I mean, doing it on Fridays would have been perfect, because the last day of the year is on a Friday. I haven't done the math of how many videos that would be, but I'm pretty sure it a sufficient amount.

Anyway, enough talk. Time to get some sleep so I can wake up in the morning.
